Kate grew up in Poland, where winters are long and the air turns crisp before the leaves have even fallen. While that dream trip hasn’t happened yet, the inspiration struck all the same. Penguins protect themselves against the harshest elements with natural armor — and Kate wondered, what if skincare could do the same for people?
